Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, investigations and project work across the borough to support businesses and protect consumers.
- Primarily work within the Pollution Control Team while also engaging in all aspects of Environmental Health work to gain a broad range of experience.
- Collaborate with residents, partners, businesses and other organisations to build partnerships that facilitate regulatory compliance and public health outcomes.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Environmental Health or a related discipline.
- Commitment to complete the CIEH EHO Pathway Qualification within 12 months from appointment.
- Strong motivation to work flexibly and engage in ongoing professional development.
- English language proficiency at an appropriate standard for the role.
