You’ll learn to design, build and support real software used by colleagues and residents—while studying toward a BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions (Software Engineer) via our approved degree‑apprenticeship pathway.

What You’ll Do

  • Build great software: Design, develop, test and refine user‑centred applications using modern engineering practices and Agile ways of working.
  • Go low‑code with impact: Create and enhance solutions on Microsoft Power Platform—Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI dashboards—to streamline processes and improve services.
  • Work across the stack: Exposure to cloud services, integrations and DevOps practices, contributing to continuous improvement and secure delivery.
  • Learn in live teams: Collaborate in multi‑disciplinary squads—participating in stand‑ups, sprint reviews and show‑and‑tells—to turn ideas into working software.

What You’ll Bring

  • Curiosity about software development and the Power Platform, with logical problem‑solving and a can‑do attitude.
  • Entry qualifications for a Degree Apprenticeship, typically including GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4+) and UCAS points (or a completed Level 3 apprenticeship) meeting university entry criteria.
