Role Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Curriculum & Quality Coordinator to lead a team of tutors across curriculum teams, ensuring the service maintains Ofsted Outstanding quality and that the curriculum meets the needs of our learners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teaching teams across the Adult Skills & Community Learning service.
- Champion an inclusive, learner‑centred curriculum that underpins everything we do.
- Develop, strengthen and enhance the curriculum offer to meet emerging learner needs.
- Align curriculum development with local labour market priorities and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority 10‑year plan.
- Support teams to review, update and plan provision so that it remains responsive, high quality and impactful.
- Embed consistent, service‑wide quality assurance processes, using observations and other assessment tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic oversight as a key member of the senior management team, influencing improvement across the service.
- Build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders and partner organisations.
- Ensure safeguarding and inclusive practice are embedded in all curriculum and delivery activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 6 qualification and a relevant teaching qualification.
- Significant experience in managing adult education teams.
- Proven ability to manage curriculum development beyond one subject area.
- Experience implementing quality assurance processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the local labour market and support networks.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice and continuous professional development.
- Proactive, empathetic and passionate about lifelong learning.
