About The Post:

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed person to join our Quality Improvement Team. The role provides support, advice and guidance to the childcare sector across the borough including Family Centres, Childminders, Nurseries, Preschools and Out of School Clubs. This is a career graded post; the suitable applicant will have a minimum of a relevant level 3 qualification in early years (the salary scale dependent on qualification).

The role requires someone with extensive up-to-date knowledge of child development, early years initiatives, guidance and issues, and the ability to work creatively to inspire settings across the borough to provide high-quality childcare.

The role includes the delivery of training, workshops and conferences which does mean that evening and weekend work is required. It also requires travel around the borough.
