Apprentice Early Years Educator (Level 3) Childs Play Day Care, Penistone, S36 9AW
At Childs Play we pride ourselves on creating a home from home environment, where learning is fun! We are looking for someone who shares our vision to join our team.
Duties include:
- Providing high quality care, planning stimulating activities based on children's individual needs.
- Tracking and monitoring their progress through observation.
- You will ensure the children feel safe and secure and provide opportunities for them to learn both indoors and outdoors.
- The successful candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Supervising mealtimes and preparing snacks
- Lots of storytelling and playing!
- Preparing activities and resources
- Liaising with parents/carers
- Working as part of a team to develop areas in the playrooms
- Helping staff in care routines
- Some knowledge of safeguarding.
This position is subject an enhanced DBS check.
Desirable:
