Electrical Installations Trainer – Barnsley College Apprenticeships Salary: ÂŁ31,280 to ÂŁ40,205 per annum (including uplift) Contract Type: Permanent Full time 37 hours per week Reference: REC1932 | Closing date: 5th January 2025 The opportunity In this dynamic role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our aspiring electricians and electrical engineers. You’ll deliver high-quality teaching and training across a range of electrical installation qualifications, from apprenticeships to technical diplomas and industry-recognised certifications. Through a combination of practical instruction and theoretical knowledge, you’ll equip learners with the skills they need to succeed in the dynamic electrical sector. You’ll bring the subject to life with engaging, hands-on training sessions that align with industry standards and qualification requirements. By assessing and monitoring learners’ progress through practical tasks, written assignments, and workplace observations, you’ll help them build the technical expertise, safety awareness, and professional behaviours essential for their careers. Creating and adapting learning materials to meet the diverse needs of your students will be a key part of your role, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all. You’ll maintain and update workshop equipment to provide a safe, inspiring learning environment and work closely with employers to support apprentices’ on-the-job training and progression.
