Are you ready to start or re‑start your career in Customer Service? Would you like to earn whilst you learn? To provide a high‑quality front of house/reception service to a wide range of customers, working across different college sites and supporting the Student Recruitment Department with a variety of administrative duties in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high‑quality customer service to support front of house services across different college sites.
  • Reception duties including greeting, signing in and out visitors, issuing and recording ID badges.
  • Operate the college main switchboard.
  • Undertake general admin duties such as data entry, using a range of IT systems and Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and MSTEAMS.
  • Record incoming and outgoing parcels received via reception.
  • Deliver an accurate and timely data entry process of admissions related information.
  • Deal with general enquiries by phone, email and in person.
  • Assist with the co‑ordination, organisation and delivery of customer focused events.
  • Support the preparation of student weekly interviews by setting up rooms/signage and meeting and greeting prospective learners and parents/carers.
  • Monitor attendance at interviews and provide follow‑up contact with relevant applicants.
  • Represent the College at internal and external events including open evenings and career events.
  • Support the team in collecting evaluations and feedback, compiling reports and reporting on findings.
  • Ensure personal compliance with internal audit guidelines and GDPR/Data Protection Act.
  • Assist with functions across other College departments where necessary, including the Marketing and Communications Team.

Working Hours

Working week: 37 hours, Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.
