Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a compact sweeper based street cleansing service.
- Ensure relevant legislative and health & safety requirements are met.
- Complete relevant documentation relating to service delivery.
- Work to agreed schedules and associated requirements.
- Cooperate with Specialist services to ensure footpaths are swept after application of herbicide.
- Support the service as requested by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience operating a compact road sweeper.
- Valid UK driving licence with category C1 or C1+E.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
- Willingness to work a 5 from 7 working pattern, including occasional weekend work if required.
Additional Information
The role can be based at any depot location associated with the operations of Neighbourhood Services and will be subject to change based on service need. The successful candidate will report directly to a Team Leader and will be expected to carry out allocated work in accordance with the respective job profile to a high standard of quality and safety.
