Main duties will include:
- Cleaning floor space in teaching,communal and office areas using appropriate techniques and equipment, forexample, mops, sweeps, spray cleans, machine scrub, dry, buff and suctionclean.
- Cleaning all internal surface areas,for example, walls, windows, work surfaces and floors using appropriatetechniques, equipment and materials.
- Emptying wastepaper bins and removingwaste to a designated area.
What we would like from you:
- Ability to use, clean and maintain afull range of industrial and domestic cleaning equipment and materials.
- Good understanding of the operationalpractices and working methods and work schedules involved.
- Understanding and awareness of therelated Health and Safety issues associated with cleaning materials, equipmentand premises.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to maintain appropriate levelsof security in all working areas.
- Ability to work effectively as anindividual and part of a team.
- Previous experience of working withinan Education setting would be advantageous but not essential.
