Barnshaws Steel Bending are currently seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join our team based at our sites located at the following locations:
- Anchor Lane, Coseley, Wolverhampton, WV14 9NE
- Tipton Road, Tividale, Oldbury, B69 3HY
The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with an electrical background within the maintenance environment. You will be working as part of our team to ensure machinery and equipment runs smoothly as well as undertaking installations. We operate Section Bending, Plate Rolling, Press Braking, Laser and Plasma machines.
We offer a competitive salary depending on experience.
Requirements / Experience:
- Served a recognised apprenticeship
- Experienced in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment
- Must have good hydraulic knowledge, including fault finding and installation
- Must have an understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and principles
- Must have good knowledge of manufacturing processes ideally within the steel industry
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition would be an advantage
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4.30pm
- Friday 7:30am to 12.30pm with 30 mins lunch break
- Saturday 6.00am to 12.00am when required
- Overtime available when required
