Staff Wellbeing
We have a well‑thought‑out staff wellbeing program that focuses on allowing staff to concentrate on their work without unnecessary impediment, including support measures such as marking from home, wellbeing events and staff celebrations.
The Role
The LSA will work under the direct instruction and guidance of teaching staff, SENDCo, and deputy SENDCo to undertake work, care, and support programmes, enabling access to learning for pupils and assisting the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of SEND support plans and EHCPs.
- Attend to pupils’ personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, medical, hygiene, and welfare matters.
