We are looking to recruit a 4‑session GP to expand the GP team at Barnfield Hill Surgery.

Monday and Wednesday sessions (Monday could be swapped out for Friday). We are a 2‑partner practice with a diverse patient demographic and a strong dedicated team of GP’s, nurses, practice admin and receptionist based in the centre of Exeter. The practice has an excellent reputation for patient satisfaction, being rated as one of the best in the city.

As a team we have strong values and aspirations for patient care, and the ethos of the practice is reflected in every decision we make. We are a member of Exeter City PCN and work in partnership with local practices, in collaborative relationships that engage patients and staff in exciting new ways of working while upholding the values of the practice to enhance patient care.

We are also an established training practice, providing support for registrars and medical students. Our GP’s are actively encouraged to have a diverse portfolio of interest and ambitions to support both personal and practice growth. The team achieves high QOF each year and is always looking for ways to support patient care based on a best‑practice approach.

We have a dedicated same‑day urgent FCP and MH nurses supporting the GP via triage. We run a GP team system, with appointments capped at 25 per day, utilising a wider team to support through our PCN MDT on the day team.

If you are interested in becoming part of the team we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV and covering letter to our Practice Manager, Zoe Trevascus via the Apply button by 21st June 2026, to be considered for this post.
