We are seeking a Senior Property Administrator to join our SIPP team. The SIPP Practice Area provides administration and trusteeship services to over 70,000 self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised and have ambitious plan to grow our customer base. This role is based in our Glasgow office working on a hybrid basis. A snapshot of your day: * Process SIPP Property transactions for core processes within defined SLAs * Process and support SIPP Property transactions for sub processes within defined SLAs * Ensure all client/advisor process transactions meet legal and legislative requirements in their execution * Liaise proactively with Financial Advisers, Solicitors and other property professionals ensuring process transactions/expectations are completed/met within SLAs * Liaise with internal/external stakeholders as required for the purposes of progressing SIPP property transactions * Reflect accurately billable process time per agreed billing procedure * Support SIPP property SME in developing suitable/appropriate technical training We would love to hear from if you have: * Knowledge of the SIPP and SSAS marketplace and the acquisition of holding and managing property within them is essential * Knowledge of both Scottish and English law relating to property is essential * Knowledge of VAT in relation to property ownership is essential * Experience in a similar role at a SIPP or SSAS operator, with a law firm engaged in property transactions or SIPP or SSAS arrangements within a firm of surveyors is highly desirable * Law degree or similar qualification is desirable * Ability to build strong rapport with clients where appropriate and key partners is essential What’s in it for you: * Competitive discretionary annual bonus * Generous pension scheme * Core benefits for you including private medical cover, life assurance, group income protection, and up to 30 days holiday per year with holiday trading * A comprehensive range of voluntary benefits to suit you (and your family) including an electric car leasing scheme, tech scheme, cycle to work scheme, dental cover, healthcare cash plan, health assessments, critical illness cover, Sports Allowance – we pay up to 50% of your gym/sports membership (up to £50 pm), travel insurance, paid volunteering, and a broad range of retailer discounts * For a full list of benefits, please click here Accessibility We are a Disability Confident Employer.
