We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our IT team. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and influencing skills to align the efforts of software developers, designers, and business stakeholders toward delivering high-impact products. You will lead and mentor product owners and collaborate with business analysts in defining and launching a new SaaS product in the SIPP business area, addressing our customer needs while driving strategic business objectives.
This role can be based in our London, Cheltenham or Amersham office working on a hybrid basis.
A snapshot of your day:
- Drive the development of solutions that address the strategic needs of the business and our clients in the retirement and savings space.
- Own the end-to-end product experience, ensuring Barnett Waddingham delivers value through a combination of software and human-powered services.
- Lead complex solution development independently, without needing oversight from senior team members.
- Manage internal expectations for complex projects, features, and products, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to other team members on product management and delivery best practices.
- Ensure product development stays aligned with the business roadmap and delivers on strategic objectives within the desired timeframes.
- Drive continuous improvement by ensuring frequent, iterative releases of valuable deliverables.
- Oversee the transition to the updated SaaS platform, ensuring successful migration and client satisfaction.
We would love to hear from if you have:
- Proven experience as a product manager or leader in a high-growth financial services software company.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile team environments.
- Strong decision-making skills in both strategic prioritization (what to focus on) and tactical decisions (feature scope).
- Track record of delivering results, including moving a product forward in line with strategic goals.
- Experience driving strategic roadmaps while managing delivery against time and cost constraints.
- Ability to interpret client requirements and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to meet objectives.
