We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Pension Administrator to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full time role that is based in our Bristol office, working on a hybrid basis. A snapshot of your day:

  • Has a thorough understanding of the trust deed and rules for each scheme
  • Carries out complex benefit calculations and tasks and deals with more complex pension queries
  • Checks work of other team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with scheme rules, internal procedures and controls and legislation
  • Checks pensioner payrolls, including calculation of net pay, arranges payments and preparation of year end returns
  • Liaises with authorities including DWP, HMRC, The Pensions Regulator and the Information Commissioner
  • Monitors scheme cashflow requirements and arranges investments/disinvestments as required.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • In depth knowledge of both DB and DC occupational pension schemes
  • A pensions qualification progress with other relevant PMI qualifications would be an advantage.
  • A willingness to make progress towards a professional qualification would be a benefit; however proven experience in the role is more desirable than other academic achievement.
  • Relevant Financial Services experience or a background in DC or DB pension administration would be a requirement.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
