Our Insurance and Longevity Consulting (ILC) Team provides consultancy services under both long-term support contracts and on standalone projects to a range of insurance and non-insurance clients. Our clients range from large multinationals and small niche insurers, based across a range of territories, to regulators and the Continuous Mortality Investigation (CMI), part of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. We have a new opportunity for a Senior Consulting Actuary to join the team in our London office on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing client requirements, including their aims and objectives, and recommending appropriate approaches/solutions or more efficient ways of working
- Checking work of others and helping more junior colleagues to deliver high quality output
- Supporting internal projects including research and development of intellectual capital for new product offerings/services
- Producing practice area marketing material and proactive in developing marketing initiatives
- Assisting in drafting new business tenders, including participating in the pitch to the potential client
- Undertake appropriate secondment-based work under the direction of a client
