We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Operations Engineer to join our Cheltenham, London, Leeds, Amersham or Birmingham office on an 18 month fixed-term contract. The team is spread throughout multiple offices in the UK and the position will involve some travel to other offices.
The IT Operations team maintains our IT infrastructure, supports the business to get the most out of our 3rd party and internally developed software as well as delivering IT solutions for external client use. We produce a wide variety of business systems that are used across all our practice areas.
The role involves supporting infrastructure integration activities, including system migrations, onboarding new platforms, enabling services resulting from Business Change. The role will ensure stable, secure, well-monitored, and integrated infrastructure services. A strong focus on reliability, automation, cross-team collaboration and tackling technical debt is required.
Most of our systems are run on Microsoft Windows Servers (various versions) and Azure Infrastructure with Windows 11 laptops running Microsoft Office 365 and various business applications.
