The SIPP Practice Area provides administration and trusteeship services to self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised as well as third party administration. We have a new opportunity for a Head of Proposition and Supplier Management to join our SIPP team. This role can be based in our Cheltenham or Glasgow offices working on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Take an active role within the SIPP Management Committee supporting the development of proposition and technical strategy for the SIPP business and managing the delivery of agreed action plans to deliver the business strategy.
  • Consumer Duty Outcome Owners for 'Products & Services' and 'Price & Value' leading ongoing proposition and fair value assessments, setting the direction for future proposition activity aligned with these reviews to ensure our propositions continue to provide customers with good outcomes.
  • Manage the regular review of Consumer Duty KPIs determining appropriate preventative and corrective action needed to address any potential, developing or actual foreseeable harms to our customers, providing regular attestations to the Consumer Duty Outcome Group on owned outcomes.
  • Provide challenge and support to other Consumer Duty outcome owners on their own outcomes, ensuring good outcomes are supported across all aspects of BW SIPP propositions.
  • Identify any new risks arising in respect of BW SIPP's propositions and ensure they are addressed in line with BW SIPP's risk appetite and our reputation for strong governance is maintained.
  • Ensure existing and new propositions are designed and managed to meet the needs and objectives of customers within identified target markets, including customers with characteristics of vulnerability.
  • Identify and promote changes required to propositions to ensure they continue to meet these objectives.

Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of HMRC and FCA rules as they apply to SIPPs.
  • Knowledge of the SIPP and SSAS market place is essential.
  • Knowledge of the wider pensions market is desirable.
  • Experience in developing pension products and delivering to market in line with the business plan.
  • Self-starter, highly organised and able to work well with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
  • Confident presenter and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
