With over 100 members, the Employer Consulting team is a fast-growing business area specialising in varying disciplines such as DB pensions, DC pensions, Employee Benefits, Governance, Investment, Engagement, and Administration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Support. This is a hybrid role based in either our Cheltenham or Birmingham office. The Client Support role in the Employer Consulting DC team provides assistance to their Line Managers, Consultants and Client Relationship Managers (CRMs). Work requests carried out are in relation to Defined Contribution pension arrangements and business development projects.
A snapshot of your day:
- Assisting the Line Manager, Consultants and CRMs with operational projects;
- Keeping client files compliant;
- Drafting Purchase Orders;
- Ensuring internal systems and tools are up to date and continuously maintained;
- Attending client meetings if required;
- Assisting the Line Manager, Consultants and CRMs in the preparation of reports and collating information for reports covering technical matters and advice;
- Checking of work prepared by others in the team;
- Member data analysis;
- Managing relationships between providers and clients;
- Analysing information and assisting in preparing recommendations of appropriate solutions for clients;
- Delivering agreed services in accordance with agreed time schedules and budget with each allocated client;
- Preparing invoices for issuing to clients, checking WIP;
- Liaising with providers of services and other professionals;
- Answering relevant calls that come in from various Employer Consulting helplines.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Minimum of GSCE Grade C in Maths and English;
- Familiarity with IT systems is required, in particular Excel with some Word and PowerPoint skills;
- Some relevant pensions or financial services background and experience however you will be encouraged & supported to qualify in Financial Planning exams to Certificate or Diploma level;
- An interest in workplace savings and benefits.
