We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Senior Events Executive to join our Marketing team and be based at our Amersham office (hybrid working). Barnett Waddingham has ambitious growth objectives and the Marketing Team plays a crucial role in achieving these. The Marketing Team delivers a range of activities across campaigns, design, communication, media relations, events and insights.
Snapshot of Your Day
- Full ownership and end to end execution of flagship events activity across in-person, virtual and hybrid (including attendance when required).
- Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Act as an experienced point of contact for Event Executives to ensure smooth delivery of their projects and provide an overview of event project statuses across team meetings.
- Continually review and report the registration status of all allocated event projects.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to provide end to end project support for allocated events – from kick‑offs, status updates through to wrap‑ups.
- Liaise with external parties associated with event delivery – such as agencies, venues, guest speakers and AV/tech providers.
- Define and execute a robust post‑event follow‑up process per event.
Qualifications
- A degree with a concentration in Marketing or Events Management is preferable, but not essential.
- Significant level of events experience across a variety of projects, demonstrating the ability to deliver highly impactful flagship events with significant budgets and complex logistics.
- The ability to run multiple event projects in a busy, fast‑paced environment and a proven track record of delivering against key objectives.
- A solid understanding and demonstrable experience of delivering a variety of digital events across various platforms.
- Proficiency in delivering hybrid events – advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be highly organised, working well with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows‑based computer applications.
