The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Qualified Company Secretary to join our Board Management Services team. This role can be based in our London, Amersham, Guildford, Bristol, Cheltenham or Birmingham offices working on a hybrid basis.

The Qualified Company Secretary will work with Boards, Companies and our own business areas to support them in finding pragmatic solutions to Governance and Secretariat issues. They will lead bespoke projects and ensure the timely delivery of our Governance and Secretariat services., * Help to develop corporate governance policies and procedures

  • Advise clients on their responsibilities

  • Maintain the company’s statutory registers and records, encompassing the register of shareholders, directors and other relevant documentation

  • Assist the organisation of Board meetings, including agendas, materials and taking minutes throughout

  • Ensure that the Board’s decisions are properly communicated and implemented

  • Ensure compliance of clients with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Monitor changes in legislation, updating the board and management teams on any impactful developments

  • Manage communications with shareholders, including facilitating the exercise of shareholders’ rights

  • Handle matters related to share transfers, dividends and other corporate actions

  • Lead projects and initiatives in support of the Board Management Services business plan

  • Several years’ experience of working within a corporate environment

  • Qualified Chartered Governance Professional

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills

  • A proven effective communicator
