Barnett Hill is a beautiful Queen Anne style property, built in 1905, set within 26 acres of lovingly maintained gardens and woodlands, sitting in the heart of the Surrey Hill area of outstanding natural beauty just outside Guildford, Surrey. This idyllic location is 15 minutes from Guildford town and 45 mins from Central London.
4 Star, 2AA rosette restaurant, 56 bedroom hotel together with conference and banqueting facilities up to 120 all within the grounds of 26 acres of woodland and beautiful gardens. The hotel has The Oak Room restaurant awarded 2 AA rosettes and the 1905 Bar and Café for more informal dining, with sunny outside terraces for summer service outdoors. Afternoon Tea is a really popular choice for residents and visitors with a variety of menus to suit every taste and occasion.
THE ROLE:
Seeking an energetic worker, with a good eye for detail to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms. 35 hrs per week, flexible start times available.
Duties include:
- Cleaning of guest bedrooms; stripping and changing bedlinen daily, cleaning, dusting, polishing & vacuuming
- Resetting of hospitality trays and guest information packs
- Corridor cleaning
- Stocking of linen for the following day
- Public area cleaning
- Refilling housekeeping cupboards ready for the next day
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor/manager to ensure they are actioned
- Internal window cleaning and carpet cleaning when required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and energetic about cleaning and presentation
- Methodical in working routines
- Ability to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis including weekends
