Barnett Creative is a growing creative communications agency based in Elstead, Surrey, working with public sector organisations, non‑profits, campaigns and personal brands. We provide a range of creative services including content creation, strategy, marketing, PR & media and communications. Our HQ includes a studio and office space, which team members are expected to attend five days a week. Due to the hands‑on nature of our work, this role is primarily office‑based. The office offers free parking, an onsite café and is dog‑friendly.

We are looking for a full‑time Shoot Editor to join the Barnett Creative team. This role reports to the Director and is open to experienced individuals with videography and post‑production skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the filming and editing of video content across client and internal projects.
  • Operate camera, audio and lighting equipment on location and in studio to a professional standard.
  • Edit footage to a high standard using Adobe Premiere Pro, delivering polished content across broadcast, social and digital platforms.
  • Manage media, project files and assets in an organised and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines and project briefs.
  • Collaborate with the Director and wider team throughout the production process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in videography and post‑production, either within an agency, in‑house or on a freelance basis.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects or other Adobe Creative Suite tools is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of camera operation, audio and lighting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high creative standard.
  • Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Due to the nature of some projects, successful candidates may be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Counter‑Terrorism Check vetting.

This role is primarily office‑based due to the hands‑on nature of production work; however, we are happy to discuss reasonable adjustments where required.

Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per year DOE.

28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). Workplace pension scheme in line with UK auto‑enrolment requirements. Mix of production days on location and office‑based editing days at our HQ. Travel required for shoots (reasonable expenses covered). Some longer days or occasional weekend shoots may be required; time off in lieu will be provided in accordance with working time regulations.
