Post title: Play Leader / Mealtime Supervisor
Salary: £28,221 per annum pro rata, term‑time only
Hours: 8 hours per week, term‑time only

Job description: You will help children enjoy a safe, fun, and inclusive playtime and mealtime, supporting their behaviour and development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children in the dining area and playground during meal breaks.
• Lead active play and support independent play, organising and running engaging games and activities.
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment, encouraging teamwork, kindness and fair play.
• Assist with serving meals and water and maintaining a clean, hygienic environment.
• Promote inclusion of all pupils, including those with physical, learning and behavioural needs.
• Support positive behaviour and take safeguarding seriously, following the school’s safeguarding policy.
• Be aware of children’s specific dietary needs such as allergies, intolerance, cultural or religious requirements.
• Liaise with the school community as appropriate and attend training as required.
