About The Role

To lead in planning, organising and managing an effective, efficient and economic Highway Maintenance service, to improve overall performance and delivery of all technical, statutory, operational and financial activities within the service, with sufficient flexibility to meet the varied workload and requirements of clients. To manage operational service delivery, DLO resources, purchasing and contracts, financial management, customer care and service support arrangements ensuring that works undertaken by the section under direct control are completed to the satisfaction of the client within agreed timescales, in conformity to the conditions of contracts, Health and Safety legislation and agreed budgets.

About You

You must have managerial or supervisory experience in highway engineering, with formal qualification in highway engineering related work area and C&G Winter Maintenance qualification. You should also have experience in managing staff including remote workers and contractors. You will be able to demonstrate your ability of Highways Civil Engineering, holding NRSWA certificate and be fully aware of H&S legislation.
