As Safeguarding Administrator, you will be at the heart of safeguarding operations, ensuring that information is handled accurately, securely, and in line with statutory guidance including Keeping Children Safe in Education, Working Together to Safeguard Children and Information Sharing Advice for practitioners providing safeguarding services for children, young people, parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and updating safeguarding records on College systems
  • Triaging safeguarding concerns and escalating urgent issues appropriately
  • Monitoring safeguarding inboxes and responding to queries from staff and external professionals
  • Supporting the coordination and tracking of safeguarding caseloads
  • Managing the secure transfer of safeguarding files for students joining or leaving the College
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential records that are audit-ready at all times
  • Supporting safeguarding meetings, reports, and compliance processes
