We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Art & Design Teacher to join our successful Creative Industries department, supporting delivery on our UAL Level 3 Architecture course as part of our expanding Architecture provision.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Level 3 learners, with a strong focus on Architecture, 3D Design and model making. Working as part of the team you will plan and deliver engaging, practical and innovative lessons that develop students’ creative thinking, technical skills and portfolio-ready outcomes, preparing them for progression to higher education. You will have experience teaching 2D/3D Design at Level 3, with a strong focus on Architecture, spatial design and model making. You will be confident working across studio and workshop environments, demonstrating sound knowledge of materials, processes and safe working practices. You will use ILT effectively to enhance learning both in and out of the classroom and will understand the importance of embedding employability skills, English and maths within creative delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience teaching 2D/3D Design at Level 3
- Strong practical skills in architecture-focused 3D design and model making
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience using CAD, laser cutting, 3D printing and associated software
- Broad knowledge of 3D making disciplines and materials
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to pastoral support, student progress and wellbeing
Qualifications
- BA (Hons) in Architecture, 3D Design or a related discipline
- UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed)
- Relevant teaching and industry experience essential
