A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful and ambitious £90 million turnover business based near Windsor, Berkshire. We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function, lead a team of six, and play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance across the organisation. This is far more than a traditional finance role. We are looking for a commercially astute finance leader who can operate as a true business partner to the senior leadership team, providing meaningful insight, challenging decision making, and helping shape the future direction of the business.
The successful candidate will be an ACCA qualified finance professional with a progressive mindset, embracing technology, AI-driven solutions and automation to transform finance processes, improve reporting capability, and deliver greater value to the wider business.
The Role:
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing finance team of six.
- Act as a trusted commercial partner to senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and strategic challenge.
- Drive profitability, performance analysis and robust commercial decision making.
- Enhance management information, reporting and forecasting capabilities.
- Identify and implement AI-led tools, automation opportunities and smarter ways of working across the finance function.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and financial planning processes.
- Improve financial controls, processes and efficiencies while supporting continued business growth.
- Deliver insightful analysis around revenue, margins, costs and operational performance.
Requirements:
- ACCA qualified with a strong track record within a commercial finance leadership role.
- A natural leader with experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Highly commercial, analytical and capable of translating complex financial data into clear business insight.
- Technology focused with a genuine interest in AI, automation and the future of finance.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and challenging the status quo.
- Hands-on, proactive and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience within a £50m+ turnover business would be advantageous as would Finance Management experience gained in a Utilities industry.
