We are pleased to be working with a well-established and market-leading supplier of PPE and site consumables to the Construction and Housebuilding sectors. Due to continued growth, our client is now looking to recruit at least three Internal Sales Executives to be based at their prestigious City of London offices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career-driven and ambitious individuals who are looking to develop within a growing, forward-thinking organisation.
Working closely with the National Sales Manager within the Business Development Office, your responsibilities will include:
- Outbound calls to existing customers (no cold calling)
- Planning, managing and logging daily call activity
- Quoting and costing potential orders
- Proactively following up on prospects and opportunities
- Producing KPI reports and supporting lead generation activity
- Ensuring smooth and effective customer handovers with internal departments
Monday to Friday office hours.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Some previous sales experience, where you have had to be proactive on the phone.
- Experience in Sales within the construction or wholesale industry is a strong advantage.
Skills and attributes required:
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, motivated and results-driven
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
