Barnes Roffe Recruitment has partnered with a Tier 1 Asset Finance House that is looking to add an additional Sales person to their team in Northern England. Your territory will focus on Northern England, specifically Yorkshire up to Newcastle. Our Client has already won and established successful programmes with some very high profile clients. Whilst you will inherit some Vendor relationships, it is still important that you have the hunger and drive to hunt for new Reseller contacts too. This is a client development and sales focused role that will be exciting and challenging where your success is within your own control.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop existing reseller, distributor, and manufacturer partnerships.
  • Warm call non-productive prospects to increase market penetration.
  • Meet potential partners to identify their requirements.
  • Identify potential partners and the decision makers within introducers.
  • Research and build relationships with new/dormant partners and sales prospects.
  • Set up meetings between decision makers.
  • Plan approaches and pitches by working with the Management team to develop presentations and proposals that meet the partners' needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • Achieve set targets and this will be predominantly achieved by bringing on new business.
  • Motivate and work with a dedicated Internal Account Manager.
  • Analyse dealer performance and increase dealer turnover.
  • Research and canvas for new dealers.

Key skills required:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years in a leasing sales role, ideally offering finance for soft assets.
  • Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
