Our client is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their small West London based team. This is a part-time position (up to 30 hours per week) with a high degree of flexibility and autonomy. The salary will be £55-58,000 per annum pro rata depending on the total number of hours worked. The role is perfect for a commercially astute candidate looking to add value from a financial perspective. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to manage our junior staff member and develop their career further. This role would be the most senior finance position, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with a passion for sport.
In this role, you will be responsible for all areas of accounting including:
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Match purchase orders with invoices
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
- Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
- Tag and monitor fixed assets
- Run the payroll using Sage payroll software
- Provide information to the external accountant
Ideally, you will:
- Be qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
- Have experience producing management accounts for a business with a similar turnover of £3 million
- Develop our junior employees' career and delegate tasks
- Ideally have experience using Sage and working in a similar business
