The position of Part-Time Finance Director is designed for an experienced finance leader who thrives in fast-paced trading environments. This role is not just about managing numbers; it's about steering the financial strategy of a growing business, optimising capital structures, and managing risks in volatile markets.
Your expertise will be crucial in providing strategic financial leadership, advising the executive team and board on growth strategies, capital allocation, and risk management. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing core finance functions such as financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and compliance. You will lead treasury operations, manage commodity-specific financial risks, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Additionally, you will support commercial teams on deal structuring and trade finance facilities, collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors, and drive process improvements.

Experience with precious metals trading, multi-currency operations, and international trade finance instruments will be highly advantageous.
This role offers a competitive part-time salary, flexible working hours, and remote/hybrid options. You will have the opportunity to shape the finance strategy in a high-growth business, work closely with senior leadership, and potentially benefit from performance-related bonuses or equity.
