HGV Class 1 Walking Floor Tramper

The role is with Barnes Environmental Ltd (BEL), formally Ningbo Walking Floors (NWF), which is now under new ownership, following being acquired by Barnes Logistics Ltd.

We operate a fleet of vehicles moving Waste, Recycling and Organic materials within the UK.

This role will be based out of our Wardle depot, in Nantwich.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for hard working and qualified HGV Drivers to work out of our Wardle base.

The role involves operating Walking Floor Trailers and nights out.

HGV Driver Benefits:

• £57, £61,869.60 average annual earning equivalent.

HGV Driver Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE).
• Preferably, experience in operating Walking Floor Trailers, or a strong desire and willingness to learn.
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Valid Digital Tachograph.

HGV Driver Responsibilities:

• Strong time management.
• Interacting with colleagues and customers in a helpful and professional manner.
• Use of route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver products safely and efficiently.
• Completion of daily maintenance checks on vehicles and trailers.

Shift Patterns:

• Monday-Friday shift pattern.
• Early morning start times.
• Willingness to work 4 nights out per week.
• Full time, secure, long-term contract.

Pay: £57,839.60-£61,869.60 per year
