Core Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Global Purchasing, Planning, IT, Legal & HR organizations on various assignments.
- Complete required data analysis on PO Metrics, Spend, RFQs and market indices.
- Support global Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier portal implementation.
- Support and maintain the supply chain standard work, training and skills matrix.
- Support supplier contract review, analysis and negotiation.
- Maintain supply chain data and ensure data integrity.
- Support the data collection, and creation of customer evaluations, including scorecards, for the Farnborough airshow.
- Complete internship projects and present findings to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a business environment.
- Ability to schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.
- Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
- Familiarity with intermediate (V-lookup/Pivot tables) and advanced (What-If, Power Query) Excel functions.
- Familiarity with basic Power BI functions and ability to learn Articulate 360 software for standard work training creation.
- Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprise principles and practices.
Education Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a 2nd or 3rd year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree preferred in Integrated Supply Chain Management, IT, Engineering, Business or Materials Management.
