We’re seeking an Honorary Treasurer to join our Board. This is a voluntary role. As a Trustee, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our strategy, ensuring sound governance as a part of our leadership team to deliver our vision. We’re particularly looking for individuals who can bring skills and insight in one or more of the following areas:
- Hands-on senior finance, audit or accountancy professional
- Previous charity sector experience would be an advantage but not necessary
Our Honorary Treasurer will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the charity and will be expected to:
- Present financial accounts at the annual AGM
- Present financial updates at quarterly trustee meetings
- Oversee financial governance and report monthly
- Work closely with committees in providing budgeting and analyses
- Administer/oversee day-to-day financial duties, with the accounts assistant
- Provide treasury services at BCA event(s)
