The Role
Paint Sprayer required for Aerospace/Defence Company.
Brand new capability introduced to site with state-of-the-art Mixing room, preparation room and paint booth (large wash/paint booth approx. 10m X 5m.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-paint preparation – hot wash, steam wash, cold wash, detergent wash, or Alocrom wash.
- Masking of non-paint areas.
- Spray painting using standard spray guns and bespoke equipment.
- Working to strict process requirements
- Measurement of coating thickness (tight tolerances to maintain)
- Ensure traceability of paint process.
- Create and maintain a team focused work environment.
- Seek out, identify and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Responsible for general housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.
- Maintain a team focused work environment
- Adhere to all policies and procedures
- Competent in Health & Safety
- Support “Best Practices” to achieve company goals for safety, delivery, cost and quality.
- In-house training will be provided.
- Job Requirements
- Spray painting to high standards (Previous Experience Not Required as Full Training will be given)
- Working as part of a team to achieve site targets and maintenance requirements
- Keeping job paperwork up to date
