Barnehurst Infant School is looking for a Mid-Day Supervisor to lead our friendly, hardworking team, which is dedicated to aiding our nursery pupils over the lunchtime period.
The Role
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the mid‑day team.
- Assist with setting up and clearing the dining hall.
- Supervise children as they eat, encourage healthy eating habits, and ensure appropriate use of utensils.
- Organise outside play and supervise the playground/field.
- Promote safe, creative play opportunities.
- Adhere to the school's pupils’ behaviour and health and safety policies.
About You
- Trustworthy, enthusiastic, energetic, well‑organised, and self‑motivated.
- Good communication skills at all levels, able to meet children’s individual needs.
- Common sense, patience, and good judgement.
