The role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Assistant on behalf of our client. Our client is an established commercial cleaning contractor who have been steadily growing from strength-to-strength over the last 25 years.
Due to retirement our client is looking for someone to join their friendly and busy finance department.
Duties & Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:
- Producing monthly invoices
- Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- Debtors ADR
- Payment Allocations
- Supporting and liaising directly with clients
- Creating invoices/statements
- Excel reporting
About you/ Experience Required:
- Previous experience in accounts – essential
- Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in excel/data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- SAGE experience – desirable
