Salary : £16,380

Hours : Part time – 21 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

The role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Assistant on behalf of our client. Our client is an established commercial cleaning contractor who have been steadily growing from strength-to-strength over the last 25 years.

Due to retirement our client is looking for someone to join their friendly and busy finance department.

Duties & Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:

  • Producing monthly invoices
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Debtors ADR
  • Payment Allocations
  • Supporting and liaising directly with clients
  • Creating invoices/statements
  • Excel reporting

About you/ Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in accounts – essential
  • Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in excel/data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • SAGE experience – desirable
