The successful candidate will lead a team to help oversee and continually develop all services and work closely with the team managers to ensure quality and effective performance. The Lancashire Young Carers is also operated from this site and will be a new piece of work for the CSM who is successful although it has been an established piece of work for over 12 years in the original Lancashire locality.

Essential requirements
- Demonstrable experience of working with children and young people and in leading others to best practice in the delivery of Children's Services
- Demonstrable record of working constructively with partner agencies, commissioners and other stakeholders, in a way that enhances the reputation of Barnardo's externally
- Demonstrable capability in understanding and managing financial and budgets
- Demonstrable capability to set team and individual objectives, and to coach towards high performance and continuous improvement

- Leadership of staff
- Ensuring recording standards are achieved
- Reporting to commissioners
- Providing information and evidence of achieving key outcomes to the Assistant Director for Children's Services
- Managing resources
- In house training and development days
History of Include Me 2
Include Me 2 has historically offered a wide range of short breaks to children and young people aged 0-18 who have special educational needs and disabilities. The service offers both a short break to parents and quality out of school group sessions to children and young people with sessions for a mixture of pre-school, primary and secondary. The service has 9 Ofsted registered sites across Lancashire and Blackpool.
