Responsibilities
- Deliver face to face advocacy to children and young people aged 3-18
- Represent the child in meetings about them either in person or virtually
- Supervising a volunteer advocate
Qualifications
- Experience working with children and young people in a professional setting.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship‑building skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and children's rights.
- Ability to advocate effectively on behalf of children and young people.
- Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and child‑centred practice.
A car driver is essential for the nature of this role. This position will be based at Barnardo's Fourwoods Family Hub.
