Barnardo's are looking for an experienced leader for our portfolio of residential services in the north of England. The successful Assistant Director of Children's Services (ADCS) will be the designated Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for our current homes, any further homes (as and when they are opened), and the Nominated Individual for our Supported Accommodation services in the region.
In addition to being the lead across the north of England for this care portfolio you will also be an integral member of the Barnardo's Children in and Leaving Care Senior Management Team, reporting directly into the Head of Operations. As a member of SMT you will contribute to both the strategic and operational plans for the region.
As a senior leader for Barnardo's, you are required to model the expected behaviours of all leaders and colleagues Our Values and Behaviours. As the Responsible Individual and Nominated Individual, the successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of consistently and proactively achieving expectations, as stated within Ofsted regulatory frameworks.
This is an exciting role requiring innovation, resilience, expert knowledge of children and young people along with commercial acumen to ensure we deliver excellent services whilst demonstrating robust and responsible stewardship.
