Role Overview
Barnardo's and Compass are working in partnership to deliver the Young Health Hub (Tower Hamlets), a healthy child programme commissioned by the Public Health team in Tower Hamlets council. ECHO is part of this contract and involves listening to children, young people and their families to ensure their voices are heard and influence meaningful change. The role will include interactions with children, young people and families, and safeguarding them is at the core of all we do. The successful applicant will be responsible and accountable, applying Barnardo's policies and procedures across all areas of the role.
Important Information
We are keen to support local Tower Hamlets residents into paid employment and encourage applications from the local community. The role is part-time – 18 hours – and working patterns can be negotiated (within usual business hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm). Flexibility to attend local volunteering fairs or training sessions is required. The team is community-based, so the ability to travel across the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and to other locations for training or work, is essential. The post holder may occasionally be required to work independently within office or community settings. Pre-employment checks will be required for the role.
