We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Manager with strong business partnering capabilities to support our portfolio of Children's Services across the Central England Region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Director of Finance, contributing to all aspects of financial management and strategic financial support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis and modelling for the Assistant Director of Finance to support them in ensuring financial targets are monitored, reported against, variances are addressed and any changes that may impact medium term business strategy are incorporated into the budget, forecast and monthly reports to the Regional / Nation Directors.
  • Contribution to the annual budget process and forecasting, within the financial year and longer term including the uploading of budgets and forecasts.
  • Support operational management of localities with resources for budget reviews including contribution to the annual budget process, forecasting within the financial year and longer term.
  • Support the development, implementation, monitoring and review all financial and budgetary systems and procedures in accordance with financial standards.
  • Support the management of service contracts and tenders, in conjunction with locality ADCSs, Business Development colleagues and Commercial team.
  • Provide contract information on funding agreements for invoicing purposes, working alongside Accounts receivables team.
  • Support on providing data and documentation to both internal and external auditors.
