What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Create a child-centred culture that promotes safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
- Model and embed DDP and PACE principles in daily practice.
- Supervise and support staff to deliver trauma-informed care.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust safeguarding practices.
- Recruit, develop, and support a high-performing staff team.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Champion the voice of the child in all aspects of care and planning.
What You'll Bring
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and regulatory compliance.
