We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Audit and Inspection team on a full‑time basis.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in one of the following fields (relevant to working with service users directly in an educational or social welfare setting): Social Work, Teaching, Health Care, Child Care Work, Youth and Community Work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and audits across all pillars, geographies, directorates and levels of the organisation, including additional reviews outside of the Children’s Services inspections.
  • Interact with stakeholders at all organisational levels to assess practice and support continuous improvement.
  • Travel regularly across the UK, including being away from home for up to three nights on any given assignment.
  • Utilise critical thinking and sound knowledge of good practice for children, young people and their families to positively influence service delivery.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid role with flexibility, requiring periodic in‑person presence at various locations (stores, services, collaboration hubs, community sites, or at home).

Pay

  • The starting salary is set between the minimum to the mid‑point of the pay band, with annual pay steps available based on performance and alignment to the charity’s values and behaviours.
