Are you passionate about creating safe, efficient and welcoming workplaces? We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Facilities Officer to join our Property & Facilities team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll support the delivery of facilities operations and utilities management across Barnardo's corporate property portfolio, helping to ensure our buildings remain safe, compliant and well maintained. This involves regular travel to corporate offices including Russell Square and Highbury & Islington and occasional pre planned weekend work. Working closely with the Programme Manager and wider Properties and Facilities Management colleagues, you'll provide a cohesive, responsive and customer-focused service to colleagues, visitors and contractors across our sites. What you'll be doing Supporting day-to-day facilities operations across Barnardo's House and other corporate offices. Coordinating contractors and monitoring service delivery to ensure maintenance and compliance activities are completed effectively. Supporting health, safety and statutory compliance activities, inspections and audits. Managing Facilities helpdesk requests and ensuring excellent customer service standards are delivered. Overseeing visitor management, reception support, meeting room services and postal operations when required. Supporting financial administration, including purchase orders, invoicing and record management. Taking day-to-day responsibility for utilities administration, including invoice validation, meter readings, supplier liaison and query management. Building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality facilities service. About you
