We are looking to appoint afull-time (37 hours per week), permanent Health and Social Care Tutorto join our friendly and dedicated teamatBarnardo\’s Employment, Training & Skills (ETS) Service in Bradford, starting theweek commencing 18th August.
About the Role
You will work with young people aged 1624, delivering engaging and effective learning acrossLevel 1 and 2 Health and Social Care qualifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning
- Support learners through one-to-one guidance and regular reviews
- Track and assess learner progress towards qualification outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely learner records
- Collaborate with the wider team to maximise learner achievement
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant industry experiencein health and social care (essential)
- Has teaching experience in the health and social care sector
- Holds a recognised teaching qualification (or is willing to work towards one)
- Is highly organised with strong communication skills
- Is passionate about helping young peopleovercome barriers and succeedin their personal and professional journeys.
About Barnardo\’s ETS.
Barnardo\’s has delivered successful employment, training and skills programmes for over 40 years. Our Bradford centre supports more than 200 young people each year to build confidence, achieve qualifications, and progress into employment or further education.
