Are you passionate about empowering young people and helping them reach their full potential? We're looking for creative, motivated individuals to join our friendly team at our Onslow Drive service. In this role, you'll be supporting young people aged 16-25 living in shared accommodation as they work toward independence. Location: Dennistoun, Glasgow

Hours / Shift Pattern: 30 hours per week. Shift pattern will include sleepovers, nightshift, day shift and backshift. The service is operational 24/7, so will include weekend work.

About the Service: Glasgow High Support Service works with young people aged 16-25 who have previously been looked after and accommodated or who have had intensive social work involvement. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, intensive support to vulnerable young people whose needs cannot be met by other forms of accommodation.

About the Role: As a Housing Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support, encouraging young people to maintain their accommodation, build positive relationships with neighbours, safeguard their wellbeing, and access local community services.
  • Designing and delivering flexible, individualised programmes that reflect each young person's needs, aspirations, and goals.
  • Managing challenging behaviour constructively while maintaining professional boundaries, safety, and openness.
  • Producing clear written reports, maintaining accurate records within an open recording system, and encouraging young people to contribute to their own documentation.

About You: In your application, you should demonstrate:

  • HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with young people in a supportive role
  • Experience of trauma informed practice
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of issues surrounding leaving care and social inclusion
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins
