Join Us as an Employer Liaison Officer (ELO). We're on the lookout for someone who's driven, people-focused, and ready to make a real difference for young people across Highland. This isn't a desk job; it's about getting out there, building relationships, and opening doors to life-changing opportunities.
What's the role? You'll be the link between Barnardo's Works Highland and local employers, creating work experience and job opportunities for young people aged 14 - 24. These are young people who need a boost and you'll help give them that chance.
Your mission:
- Connect & Create: Build strong relationships with employers and turn them into real opportunities.
- Know Your Patch: Understand the local job market and what makes it tick.
- Champion Young People: Support them into placements, jobs, and apprenticeships that stick.
- Organise & Energise: From networking events to job clubs, you'll make things happen.
