Midlands ETS has been supporting 16 to 25 year old young people for over 14 years. We deliver apprenticeships throughout the Midlands and South of England together with a Study Programme. This role will be based in our Centre in Chelmsley Wood.
We are currently looking for an Employment Engagement Officer who has a passion for helping young people progress into apprenticeships and/or employment, loves meeting new people and enjoys working as a team. Part of this role is to act as cover tutor when needed and also support Study Programme learners in finding suitable work placements.
Do you have the following qualities & skills?
- Enjoy meeting new people to help establish and maintain new relationships to both support the increase of apprenticeship vacancies and work experience opportunities for our young people
- Love networking, undertaking presentations and experienced in using social media
- Have confidence to represent Barnardo's ETS at events and meetings
- Have good attention to detail to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Hold a minimum of a level 3 Teaching Qualification to enable you to support tutors when needed
- Previously worked in a similar position
- Knowledge and experience of DFE funded Study Programme and Apprenticeships
